SBM focus on the rock crusher It's a grown man's version of a Tonka construction toy. Simply turn it on, throw some big rocks in, and watch them get pulverized. Despite it's power, it's also a green recycling machine. "What it will do is take and recycle all of the used concrete, asphalt and turn it into reusable crushed stone," says Nicholas Baker, dealer for the SBM rock crusher. It's not your average person's recycling. But when you consider crushed stone is used in nearly every type of construction, it's easy to see why such a machine could be needed. "You cannot build anything anywhere without crushed stone, says Charles. "You need it." Much of that stone, especially out west, comes from gravel pits. It gets trucked long distances to construction projects. But this machine can teach westerners a lesson that easterners already know. "Where we're from in New Jersey, there's no more mountains where you can go and get your crushed stone from," says Charles. "Everything is done recycled. " He hopes that trend will continue in the Treasure Valley.
